Audioconference on Engaging Youth as City Leaders ? Dec. 14
Does your city have a youth council or is it planning to form one? Are youth in your city involved in service projects? Do they connect with local government and the community in other ways? A free, hour-long audioconference, on Thurs., Dec. 14, at 4:00 p.m. Eastern Time will highlight ways to enhance youth engagement and leadership. The title of the audioconference is ?A Seat at the Table: Engaging Youth as City Leaders.?
TO REGISTER FOR THIS FREE CALL, send complete contact information (name, title, dept./org., address, city, state, phone, fax, and email) to iyef@nlc.org or via fax to (202) 626-3043 by close of business Tues., Dec. 12. No phone registrations can be accepted. If you wish, gather a group of people around a speaker phone and use the call as a springboard for brainstorming or training. One day prior to the call, each registrant will receive an email or fax providing a toll-free, dial-in number.
