An Interview with Wade Horn, Ph.D., Assistant Secretary for Children and Families, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services
Dr. Horn oversees many programs for low-income families and children, including Temporary Assistance for Needy Families, foster care, adoption assistance, family preservation and support, Head Start, child care, child support enforcement, runaway and homeless youth, and mental retardation and developmental disabilities. He will discuss the Bush Administration’s past efforts and future priorities for these programs.
