ABWHE (Association of Black Women in Higher Education) – Phila. Chapter 4th Annual Garden Party
Sowing Seeds of Sankofa:  Moving Forward and Reaching Back

Visually and symbolically “Sankofa” is expressed as a mythic bird that flies forward while looking backward with an egg (symbolizing the future) in its mouth.

You are cordially invited to join ABWHE Philadelphia for an exciting evening of fellowship, unity, and networking. We will discuss how we can move forward and reach back to encourage one another to develop and grow to our fullest potential. There will be delicious food and more!

Maisha Sullivan-Ongoza, Director of the Philadelphia Chapter of Say Yes to Education Program and an adjunct professor at various universities in the Delaware Valley, is the guest speaker.
The garden party will be held on Friday, May 18, 2012 from 5:30 – 8:30 PM at the University of Penn, Carriage House, 3907 Spruce Street, Philadelphia PA. Ticket price for this event is $15.00 for members, $20.00 for non-members. Bring a friend!
