Associate Director, Program Evaluation

The Foundation for Advancement of International Medical Education and Research (FAIMER) is seeking an Associate Director, Program Evaluation at the Philadelphia, PA office. The Associate Director, Program Evaluation is responsible for providing leadership and oversight for the design and implementation of evaluation of FAIMER Education programs and collaborations. They are also responsible for leading evaluation capacity development in the FAIMER fellowships community, including evaluation education and skills building of FAIMER Fellows and regional institute leadership.
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Designs and implements evaluation of FAIMER education programs and collaborations
- Designs and implements evaluation capacity building for FAIMER fellowships programs.
- Prepares evaluation reports, presentations, and papers for scholarly publications.
- Oversees management of FAIMER Education databases.
- Maintains appropriate IRB clearance for FAIMER Education evaluation efforts.
- Other duties requested by supervisor.
- Approximately 10% International Travel*

Experience:
- 5+ Years program evaluation experience
- Experience conducting focus groups and interviews
- Experience with evaluation capacity development
- Experience with community and health project evaluation preferred
- Social network analysis experience preferred
Education:
- PhD in education, psychology, sociology, or related field
The Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG) is a not for profit organization based in Philadelphia, PA. ECFMG has the responsibility of evaluating qualifications of graduates of international medical schools who seek entry into postgraduate medical education positions in the United States. International medical graduates who wish to enter an ACGME-accredited residency or a fellowship program in the U.S. must be certified by ECFMG. The current requirements for ECFMG Certification include passing portions of the United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE).
