A Campus Minister at Villanova University is responsible to support the Mission of the University as expressed in the Mission of Campus Ministry. A Campus Minister is committed to the development of young adult spirituality through faith based service to the marginalized and disadvantaged in the local community. As a member of the Campus Ministry Service and Social Justice team, the minister will coordinate weekly Campus Ministry service programs. Programs currently include 10-15 service projects for approximately 200 students per week. Emphasis is on developing, supervising and empowering student leaders who will work with the minister to build relationships with community partners and volunteers. Responsibilities include: implementing opportunities for service, education, reflection and celebration that will encourage students to learn about the needs of the poor, to reflect on service as praxis of faith and to seek ways to be engaged in the struggle for social justice. This position requires a flexible work schedule that includes evenings and weekend responsibilities. Masters Degree in Theology/Pastoral Ministry or equivalent required with experience in higher education. Qualified candidates should forward a resume and cover letter to James S.
