Assistant to the President

Delaware Valley Fairness Project is seeking candidates for a junior management position as Assistant to the President/Executive Director. This is a full-time position based at our office in Kensington. The duties of the position will require travel to and from locations in the Philadelphia area.
The Assistant to the President will work with the president in managing DVFP’s services to schools and families in Philadelphia. The person in this position should expect to take direction from the president but then work independently to manage the projects assigned and deliver the required services. Candidates should possess excellent communication and leadership abilities, be detail-oriented, and have good people skills.
Delaware Valley Fairness Project is a nonprofit organization located in a facility with other nonprofits and requires all employees and contractors to obtain the following background checks and clearances: PA Criminal Background Check; PA Child Abuse History Clearance; and Dept of Education FBI Fingerprinting (federal background check). Candidates also must have a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and use of a vehicle.
