Assistant Project Director
Based in Philadelphia and serving the Eastern Pennsylvania/Delaware regions, assist the Project Director – No Place for Hate® in implementing the No Place for Hate® prejudice reduction campaign. Work with regional office staff to provide resources, support, and assistance to community, school groups, and organizations. Coordinate public relations and programmatic components of the project.
Additional Qualifications:
*Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Training, or equivalent work experience.
*2-3 years of progressively responsible community service experience including education program management experience.
*Strong writing, interpersonal, organizational and presentation skills.
*Effective public speaking skills.
*Experience with educational systems and education practices.
*Strong commitment to the mission and values of the ADL.
*Understanding and appreciation of diversity issues.
*Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities including balancing content knowledge and administrative follow through.
*Advanced proficiency in social media technologies (i.e., Twitter, Facebook, etc.)
*Computer skills including word processing and database management applications.
*Bilingual language skills a plus.
*Flexibility to work evenings and weekends when necessary to represent ADL, conduct training sessions and attend community events.
*Some travel within the region required, with occasional overnight travel.
