Assistant Program Manager – Outreach Coordination Center
The Assistant Program Manager assists in the management of the day to day operations of the OCC including staff supervision,coordination of street outreach operations, data collection and reporting, administrative systems management, communication with partner/ ancillary agencies and government officials. The Assistant Manager will support and assist the Senior Program Manager as needed.
Description of Duties:
- Supervise outreach support staff, front desk receptionists, peers and winter initiative personnel ensuring that client care in within the mission and values of Project HOME.
- Schedule and provide training for new support staff, volunteers and partners.
- Ensure outreach staff are collecting and entering data in city reporting systems as required including PATH and ETO, Hot Spot information and Response call data sheets.
- Monitor and track compliance with all required data reporting and conduct bi-weekly compliance data checks.
- Support and train front desk reception staff and outreach dispatchers.
- Creating weekly, monthly and quarterly outreach reports and relevant summaries related to ending chronic street homelessness.
- Coordinating quarterly Street counts and assisting Sr. Program Manager in collecting data for street count reports.
- Working within a team to identify trends in homelessness and relevant interventions to address those trends.
- Creating and implementing monthly work schedule for outreach, front desk staff and other projects as needed.
- Ensure that required administrative tasks are implemented in an efficient and effective manner within the prescribed work load.
Required Qualifications:
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Two years administrative organizational skills that include report writing and presentations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- College degree
- Working knowledge of the homeless system and outreach.
