Assistant OR Associate Director for Student Formation and Community Engagement

Overseeing Student Formation and Community Engagement in The St. Thomas of Villanova Center for the Common Good. As an integral part of Mission & Ministry’s dynamic reimagining of the organization of its service programs which includes the launching of the St. Thomas of Villanova Center for the Common Good, this position will work collaboratively with the Assistant Director for Local Service and Community Engagement. Emphasis is on developing and empowering student leaders who will work to build relationships with community partners and volunteers. Responsibilities include implementing opportunities for service, education, reflection, and celebration that will encourage students to learn about the needs of the community, to reflect on service as a praxis of faith and life, and to seek ways to be engaged in the struggle for social justice. This position requires a flexible work schedule that includes evenings and weekend responsibilities. This position requires adaptability and the ability to work creatively in a collaborative environment.
