Assistant Director of Student Engagement for Campus Activities

Qualifications:
- Ability to maintain effective working relationships with university staff, faculty and students
- Effective customer relations and communication skills
- Ability to work with a diverse student and administrative customer base
- Dependability, punctuality, honesty and integrity
- Ability to prioritize work, manage time and multi-task appropriately
- Strong skill set with organization
- Strong background in event and program management
- Strong background in student organization advising and management
- Understanding of leadership development theory and concepts as well as facilitation of leadership programs
- Firm understanding and background in program and learning assessment
- Strong background in working with students in a campus environment
- Tech savvy and strong ability with social media
Education Required:
Master’s Degree in higher education or related field preferred
Responsibilities:
- Advise the Campus Activities Board
- Oversee the student clubs and organizations program
- Coordinate the LEAD Co-Curricular Certificate program
- Coordinate departmental assessment
- Supervise the OSE Associate for Leadership Development
- Participate in departmental initiatives such as, but not limited to. Ram Madness,
- Homecoming, New Student Orientation, Spring Fling, etc.
