Job description
Catholic Social Services is looking for an energetic Assistant Director to assist the Program Director in daily program operations at the St. Martin de Porres Out of School Time (OST) Program located at 2300 W. Lehigh Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19132. The OST Program serves at-risk children and youth in grades K-8th in after-school and summer programs.
Duties include:
Develop, coordinate, and implement age appropriate research based curriculum, Project Based Learning, and 21st Century Community Learning Center activities
Assist the Director with the on-going recruitment and registration process
Assist the Director in training, supervising, and evaluating staff members
Develop scheduling for students and staff
Ensure accurate signing in and signing out of all program participants
Accurately enter data into database
Maintain compliance of children’s files
Develop positive relationships with students, staff, parents, and supervisors
Other tasks and duties as assigned
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Education or Associate’s Degree in Education, or related field
At least two years’ experience working with children are required.
