Assistant Director, Institute for Empowering Equitable Education in STEM (E3)

We are excited to announce the launch of a new institute at Rutgers-Camden, funded by the Howard Hughes Medical Institute. This initiative is committed to fostering an inclusive educational culture on our campus by providing leadership training to faculty, staff, and students in STEM fields.
At the new Institute for Empowering Equitable Education in STEM (E3) at Rutgers University – Camden we are looking for an Assistant Director.
The Assistant Director SPVR will be responsible for aiding the Director in executing the Institute for Empowering Equitable Education in STEM at Rutgers University – Camden (E3)’s vision focused on creating a sustainable culture change in equitable STEM education. This role requires expertise in program development and implementation, particularly in fostering equitable pedagogy, course and curricular design, and university policies.
Supporting the Director, the incumbent oversees the administration of E3: preparing grant submissions, tracking awards, grants budget record-keeping, program operations and reporting. In addition, the Assistant Director oversees E3 personnel. The Assistant Director oversees the marketing and communication of E3 activities and serves as liaison for E3 to the local communities including Camden School District.
