Assistant Director, Center for Student Professional Development

Under general supervision of and in collaboration with the Associate Director of Career Competencies, the incumbent prepares; coaches and counsels BBA students for internship and permanent job placement opportunities, including interview skills and resume writing. Assist with the curriculum design and implementation/delivery of the BA2101 Professional Development Strategies module for students. Assists Associate Director and CSPD Assistant Dean in development of new programs and related activities. Delivers and coordinates live career strategies and competency workshops for students including the use of business community contacts. Assist with development of the web-based content of career strategies program(s) for students; including general information and schedule updates, revisions of assessment tools and various other interactive components. The Assistant Director will also assist the Corporate Relations team with promoting corporate presentations, recruitment events and executive speaker events to the undergraduate student population. The Assistant Director utilizes relevant technology tools (e.g., FoxNet, First Research, Hoovers, Big Interview, etc.). Work with Fox Young Alumni/Alumni Associations regarding career-related programming as appropriate. Assists and supports student recruitment activities as necessary. Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field and at least three years related experience in Human Resources (staffing/recruiting), college/university relations, Career Services or Customer Relations. demonstrated experience in behavioral event interviewing in a service business or student environment. Experience preparing and delivering professional level presentations. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

* Excellent time management, prioritization and efficiency skills.
* Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills along with the ability to effectively interact with a diverse group of students and staff.
* Demonstrated ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong analytical and organization skills.
* Demonstrated computer skills including MS Office; as well as experience with web-based products, applicant tracking systems and databases.
* Ability to work nights and/or weekends, as necessary.
Preferred:
* Master’s degree
* Classroom teaching experience
* Experience working with international students and work authorization policies
* Industry experience in Human Resources with an emphasis on Staffing/Recruiting operations or management of College Relations programs.
