ASHA 2019 School Health Conference, Oct. 2-4

The Registration deadline for the conference has been extended! The deadline to register is Sept. 30. ASHA will attempt to honor any requests for accommodation, such as special dietary needs; however, accommodation requests received within one month of the event date cannot be guaranteed. The 2019 Annual School Health Conference in Cincinnati Ohio, Oct. 2-4, features four interdisciplinary based tracks to acquire the knowledge and resources to develop, support, and assess school health tenets while embracing the WSCC model. Pre-Conference Sessions
Looking for a way to maximize your attendance at ASHA’s 93rd annual school health conference? Consider a pre-conference session! Take a look and sign up for the pre-conference session that will put a cherry on top of the conference. For those of you that may not be able to attend the full conference, a pre-conference session may be right for you. There are affordable options that allow you to dig deeper into a topic, but only have you out of the office for a half day.

ASHA Gives Back
ASHA Gives Back is a service initiative in the conference host city that was launched by former ASHA President, Linda Morse. In the past, there have been school supply drives for local students and a blood drive. At our 2019 Conference in Cincinnati, ASHA will ask members and sponsors to donate hygiene products to be delivered to students at a local school-based health center. As you pack for Cincinnati, please consider bringing hygiene products such as shampoo, conditioner, soaps, tooth brush, toothpaste, deodorant, and feminine hygiene products to contribute.
