Posted by on August 6, 2007

The City of Philadelphia Mural Arts Program is excited to share with you information about a much anticipated conference we are hosting this fall-the Arts in Criminal Justice National Conference (http://www.artsincriminaljustice.org/aicj/public/frontpage.htm).

The Mural Arts Program is proud to be the first organization to facilitate a national, large-scale conversation about the burgeoning field of arts in criminal justice. Taking place in Philadelphia October 3rd through 6th, 2007, the Conference is expected to draw hundreds of individuals from around the country to participate in three days of sessions that will include analysis, problem-solving exercises, and discussions addressing the opportunities and challenges in this innovative field.

Conference registration is now open. Please visit http://www.artsincriminaljustice.org to view the schedule, peruse the sessions, and register online.

And please forward this email to your friends and colleagues. We are hoping to reach the broadest possible audience. For questions or for more information, please contact us at [email protected] or (215) 685-0759.

We would like to extend special thanks to our conference sponsors, The Nathan Cummings Foundation, The Ford Foundation, the Leeway Foundation, and Philadelphia Safe and Sound, with funding from the City of Philadelphia Department of Human Services.

We hope you will join us in October for what promises to be an informative and rewarding conference!

Sincerely,

The City of Philadelphia Mural Arts Program
and the Conference Planning Team
