Art and Culture Grants, Philadelphia Cultural Fund – Jan 22
Posted by Philadelphia Cultural Fund on November 26, 2024
The Philadelphia Cultural Fund (PCF) was established in 1991 when Philadelphia’s Mayor and City Council authorized the creation of an independent nonprofit 501(c)(3) corporation whose mission is to provide funds to enhance the cultural life and vitality of the City of Philadelphia and its residents. PCF is managed by a professional philanthropy staff, with governance provided by a board composed of arts leaders, community members, and representatives named by the Mayor and City Council President.
By providing general operating support to Philadelphia-based arts and culture organizations, we advocate for the value of the arts and their importance to the growth and future of our community. The social, educational, and economic development of Philadelphia is tied to the vitality of arts and culture in our city. PCF recognizes and promotes the contributions and services of Philadelphia-based organizations, both emerging and established, across all ten districts.
In our continued dedication to fostering a thriving arts and culture community in Philadelphia, we are implementing some temporary adjustments to the FY25 Grant Cycle. PCF is embarking on a strategic journey to reassess and strengthen our impact, and these changes are crucial as we work to build a more equitable and sustainable future for the arts in our city.
Key Updates for the FY25 Grant Cycle:
The 2025 Art and Culture Grant: The Philadelphia Cultural Fund will not accept new applicants or conduct a peer panel process for the 2025 Art & Culture Grant. We will continue to fund small to mid-sized arts and culture organizations that received a grant between FY20 and FY24, provided they meet the ongoing eligibility requirements.
The FY25 Art & Culture Grant opened on November 13, 2024 for Grantees of FY20, FY21, FY22, FY23, and FY24.
Application deadline: Wednesday, January 22, 2025 at 11:59 PM
