Apprenticeship: From Handshake to Hired
Posted by Urban Technology Project on November 13, 2017
The Urban Technology Project is hosting an event on November 15th from 5PM – 7PM at Benjamin’s Desk (1608 Walnut St.) in celebration of National Apprenticeship Week.
Join us for an evening of networking, refreshments, and a panel discussion on why employers should consider the apprenticeship model as a way to invest in a diverse and knowledgeable workforce. We will hear from employers who are working with and championing our apprentices at their tech startups, public institutions, non-profits, and government agencies in Philadelphia. A workforce built by apprenticeship means that Philly talent stays in Philly.
Please register here: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/apprenticeship-from-handshake-to-hired-tickets-39126745148 to attend our event & feel free to share with your network.
We look forward to seeing you there!
