Apply to be an AmeriCorps Grant External Reviewer
Posted by AmeriCorps on July 9, 2024
AmeriCorps is working to expand our pool of qualified external reviewers to support future grant reviews, including our upcoming AmeriCorps Seniors RSVP grant review.
Our External Reviewer website provides interested individuals with information about what to expect, the time commitment, and how to sign up to be considered for the AmeriCorps Seniors RSVP grant review. To be considered, eligible individuals must meet the minimum qualifications and must describe these qualifications in their application. It’s an excellent opportunity for someone who has five or more years of demonstrated experience in such fields as:
- disaster services;
- education;
- environmental stewardship;
- healthy futures;
- economic opportunity;
- veterans and military families; and/or
- capacity building.
The AmeriCorps Seniors RSVP funding announcement is an opportunity for communities to apply for funding to engage adults ages 55 and older in tackling the community’s most pressing needs through the AmeriCorps Seniors RSVP program. Accordingly, we are looking for reviewers with five or more years of demonstrated experience in the respective fields listed above and expertise in programming for older adults, aging issues, aging services, and understanding of the roles and strengths of older adult volunteers and volunteerism. If you know someone with the appropriate qualifications who could be interested in the AmeriCorps grant review opportunity, please direct them to the reviewer recruitment website.
