We’re excited to announce that applications are now open for the National Youth Leadership Council (NYLC) Youth Advisory Council (YAC), offering a unique opportunity for high school students to develop as leaders.
Applications are open now through April 30!
Eligibility: U.S.-based students currently in grades 9–12 who will be at least 15 years old by December 31, 2025.
The goal of the Youth Advisory Council is to bring authentic youth voice to NYLC’s work by forming a team of active youth leaders who serve as service-learning trainers, community builders, and champions of youth leadership.
YAC members:
- Collaborate with NYLC staff throughout the year
- Build leadership skills through training, retreats, and virtual gatherings
- Contribute to national programming, including the National Service-Learning Conference®
- Plan and lead the annual Youth Leadership Summit
