Apply to Be a Host Site for Campus Climate Action Corps – Jun 21
Posted by Campus Compact on June 18, 2024
The Campus Climate Action Corps (CCAC) is the first nationwide AmeriCorps program solely dedicated to campus-based, community-led climate action. CCAC, a program of Campus Compact, works with colleges, universities, and their community partners to enhance energy efficiency and protect at-risk ecosystems through local solutions.
We’re excited to announce that applications for the 2024-25 Campus Climate Action Corps Program are open! We are eager to recruit a diverse array of campuses from across the country to host small teams of AmeriCorps members, in collaboration with community partners, to create positive change for the environment, especially in underserved communities.
At the core of every college and university lies a powerhouse of innovation, research, and multidisciplinary solutions. Join Campus Climate Action Corps as a host site to step into the forefront of sustainability and help lead the charge in the fight against climate change.
New Host Sites: Apply before the June 21st Priority Deadline. Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis after the priority deadline.
This Request for Proposals (RFP) provides potential CCAC host site applicants an overview of our program, delineates what the Campus Compact CCAC program requires of the projects we sponsor, and lays out the project timeline. All applicants should read through the CCAC RFP document in its entirety before beginning their application.
