Preserving Philadelphia’s existing supply of affordable housing is critical to helping lower-income families meet basic needs, avoid displacement and increase stability. As affordable rental developments age, some form of recapitalization is typically needed for the properties to remain safe, financially viable and competitive. Join experts from the Pennsylvania Housing Finance Agency, Local Initiatives Support Corporation, Sherick Project Management, and Mission First Housing to hear best practices, tips and challenges in planning your preservation strategy. Presented in collaboration with the City Philadelphia, Division of Housing and Community Development, Philadelphia Local Initiatives Corporation and Philadelphia Association of CDCs.
