Another Urgent Call for Poll Workers
Posted by Committee of Seventy on September 15, 2020
Philadelphia is facing an extreme poll worker shortage due to the virus. We’re partnering with the City Commissioners and The Voter Project to recruit the next generation of poll workers, and provide them with the training they need to be successful and limit their risk of exposure to Covid-19.
The Commissioners just increased pay to $200 + $50 for training.
Please sharing this opportunity with your colleagues (especially those who may be furloughed due to campus closures), and students, and any student groups: https://www.thevoterproject.com/?source=c70.
