Annual Teal Day Press Conference – Apr 6
Posted by Philadelphia Commission for Women on March 28, 2023
On April 6th, 2023, in collaboration with the Philadelphia Commission for Women, WOAR will be hosting the Annual Teal Day Press Conference. The event will take place at the North Apron of City Hall from 12-2 PM.
This year’s theme is ”Drawing Connections: Prevention Demands Equity”, recognizing that it will take ending all forms of oppression to end sexual harassment, assault, and abuse.
Teal is the color chosen to represent and raise awareness for sexual assault survivors. WOAR will be offering a lot of opportunities for individuals and organizations to support efforts to eliminate sexual violence in the City of Philadelphia. Please join us in wearing something teal to show your support for victims of sexual violence and for those working to end violence in our homes, communities, and the nation.
