Posted by on October 19, 2009
ECA is pleased to announce its annual Energy Services Conference: “2009: It’s Time to Save Energy.” With so many exciting initiatives in energy conservation and green jobs, the conference will lead with new energy conservation services available. With the impending expiration of PECO’s rate caps next year, energy efficiency remains the only sure path to energy affordability for Pennsylvanians.
The conference will be in the morning on Thursday, November 19, 2009. Registration and breakfast begins at 8:00 am with the conference from 8:45 am to 1:00 pm.
The enclosed agenda details the speakers and session topics. We’re delighted to welcome Mayor Nutter and Senator Kitchen as our keynote speakers. As you know only too well, an increasing number of Pennsylvanians are having trouble making ends meet in this economy. Utility terminations continue to rise. While energy has always been a difficult issue for low-income residents, in recent years, more moderate income people are struggling with high energy cost. It is vital that Pennsylvanians learn how to save energy in their homes and take full advantage of act 129, federal tax credits, and other incentives now.
Please complete the enclosed registration form and return it, along with registration fee of $30, which includes the annual 2009-2010 Philadelphia Energy Directory and all other conference material. Our new venue, the Friends Center 1501 Cherry Street (NW corner of 15th and Cherry) is easily accessible by Public transportation and seats 700 so bring everyone who is interested!
