Dear Development Finance Colleagues:
This is a reminder that early registration ends May 17, 2005 for National Community Investment Fund’s Annual Development Banking Conference on June 15 – 16, 2005 in Chicago. Register online and view the Conference agenda at http://www.ncif.org.
The Conference features a Workplace Based Financial Services Summit & Trade Show as a special June 16 track co-sponsored with the FDIC and many other organizations. This culminates an FDIC Partnership focused on leveraging the workplace to bring the underbanked into the financial mainstream. FDIC Chairman, the Honorable Donald E. Powell, will give the keynote address. Details are at http://www.ncif.org and one day admission is available.
Other Conference highlights:
Development banking institutions represent less than 10% of the number of certified CDFIs and some 50% of the assets. NCIF’s Annual Development Banking Conference is the largest gathering each year of development bank senior managers, investors, funders, regulators and other community partners. Please join us in Chicago for lively discussion on opportunities and challenges at this pivotal time for development finance.
