Anchor Learning Network 2026 kick-off: Workforce development and the anchor mission – Dec 3
Posted by Coalition of Urban and Metropolitan Universities on October 7, 2025
Join us for our first Anchor Learning Network (ALN) 2026 meeting. Whether you have already submitted your 2026 ALN application or are simply exploring whether this group might be right for you, this session is the perfect place to start. Together, we’ll introduce the ALN program, connect with fellow members, and dive into the 2026 ALN theme: workforce development and the anchor mission.
We will be joined by Dr. Jennifer Kebea, President of Campus Philly, who will share insights on how workforce development is central to higher education’s anchor role. From preparing students for meaningful careers, to hiring locally, to addressing regional workforce needs, Dr. Kebea will highlight how institutions can make intentional, positive impacts in their communities.
Open to all CUMU members. If you are involved in anchor initiatives or workforce development on your campus, we hope you will join us to learn more about the Anchor Learning Network and engage with this timely and important topic.
Date and Time: December 3, 3:00–4:00 PM
