Ameriprise supports a range of projects
Ameriprise Foundation Community Relations Grants, the giving effort for the financial planning company, focuses its funding on three key priorities—Meeting Basic Needs, Supporting Community Vitality and Volunteer-Driven Causes.
Basic Needs funding supports programs that help individuals stabilize their lives and become more self sufficient. Hunger, housing and job training organizations should apply under this category.
Community Vitality funding focuses on building strong communities by creating economic vitality and cultural enrichment. Community development, arts and culture and environmental groups should apply under this category.
Volunteer-driven cause funding is intended to recognize the many nonprofits that serve Ameriprise communities and have caught the interest of its employees. The grant guidance spells out how many volunteers need to be involved for funding success.
