Development Coordinator AmeriCorps*VISTA

The Development Coordinator will assist Empowerment Group in all annual fundraising efforts, including grant research, proposal preparation, record maintenance and individual giving campaigns. Other responsibilities include: population of Empowerment Group’s new grant database with organizational funding history; sourcing of new fundraising opportunities; and assistance with development of fundraising-specific events. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated, self-starter with exceptional writing and communications skills. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, excel at Internet research and be comfortable learning new software. This position offers a great opportunity to learn the fundamentals of fundraising while helping our organization grow.

Digital Outreach Coordinator AmeriCorps*VISTA

The Digital Outreach Coordinator will assist Empowerment Group grow its Internet presence by concentrating marketing efforts on web-based applications. Responsibilities include: assistance with development and design of print and web products; daily upkeep of website and social networking sites; expansion of web-presence through E-Commerce and E-Publishing; web-based client outreach; and assistance with development of workshops in branding, marketing and E-sales. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated, creative self-starter with demonstrated experience in marketing, communication and writing. Must be proficient in Adobe CS2 (or higher) and Microsoft Office Suite; preferred experience with Dot Net Nuke web platforms, but not required.
