AmeriCorps Youth Worker: Part time, AmeriCorps Youth Worker is responsible for developing, planning and implementing activities during and after school as well as summer programs for middle and high school youth.  The incumbent will also assist in providing referral and outreach services to youth enrolled in the OCCCDA program and at partnering sites. This position helps Oxford Circle Christian Community Development Association in partnership with EducationWorks/PA TeamUp serve youth better.

Position Responsibilities:

Develop, plan and implement daily youth program activities for middle and high youth based on best practice models for in school, after school and summer programs
Supervise volunteers/instructors assisting with daily activities
Develop relationships and partnerships with the participants’ parents and schools
Conducts home and school visits as needed
Develops a yearly service plan for youth enrolled in programs
Ensures that accurate and current documentation is maintained, including applications and any case notes and/or incident reports
Assists Program Coordinator and Youth Coordinator in ensuring compliance with requirements of OCCCDA and funders
Develops a network of social service and support agencies which provide services to community youth
