Students Run Philly Style, a nonprofit mentoring program that engages middle school and high school youth through distance running, is hiring for an AmeriCorps VISTA position! The VISTA will serve as a Program Assistant supporting volunteer-led teams of youth in Philadelphia and Camden. This full-time, one-year service term includes a living stipend and education award. For years we’ve said that all you need to start running is a pair of sneakers and a caring adult, but we know it takes much more than that! Join our team to help create youth opportunities for strong, lasting mentoring relationships, individual growth and skill-building, healthy physical activity and memories of personal achievement that last a lifetime.
