AmeriCorps VISTA Leader, National Nurse-Led Care Consortium (NNCC) – May 1

The National Nurse-Led Care Consortium (NNCC) VISTA program is seeking one VISTA Leader to serve during the 2023-2024 project cycle to continue to assist the VISTA Project Supervisor in carrying out project responsibilities. The VISTA Leader will build the capacity of the program by developing a sustainable recruitment, training, and management system for the program. They will also provide capacity building assistance for PHMC’s overall referral system between programs and affiliates. They will also represent NNCC as a member of the National Service Task Force (NSTF), a collaborative partnership between AmeriCorps and National Service programs in Philadelphia. Primary responsibilities will include supporting the recruitment and selection of high quality VISTAs by creating and executing communication strategies and streamlining the screening process, assisting with the development of orientation and ongoing training of VISTAs and their site supervisors, coordinating and monitoring monthly reports, and enhancing NNCC’s VISTA project sustainability.
Applicants MUST have previous AmeriCorps experience, ideally, previous AmeriCorps VISTA experience. VISTA Leaders have successfully completed at least one year of VISTA service, or one full term of full-time service (serving 1,770 hours or more) with either AmeriCorps State and National or AmeriCorps National Civilian Community Corps (NCCC), or at least one traditional term of Peace Corps service.
