Project SHINE, AmeriCorps Program Coordinator

Project SHINE, a national immigrant integration initiative is looking for a part-time (34 hours/week) AmeriCorps Coordinator for an ESL/Health Literacy initiative.

Operating out of the Intergenerational Center at Temple University, this individual is responsible for the day-to-day management of the Philadelphia program including recruiting, training, and supporting intergenerational teams of AmeriCorps members and leveraged volunteers; building partnerships with ethnic community-based organizations; conducting site visits; collecting evaluation data and monitoring results; and writing reports. The Program coordinator also works with SHINE’s team to support national program operations and develop best practices.

Preferred experience: teaching ESL, health/health education, training, partnership building, work with immigrant communities and/or in diverse communities.
