AmeriCorps National Civilian Community Corps Request for Proposals – Feb 29
Posted by AmeriCorps on February 20, 2024
AmeriCorps National Civilian Community Corps (NCCC), a program of AmeriCorps, is seeking proposals which address compelling community needs. NCCC is accepting Concept Forms for the summer and fall of 2024, and the next available timeframe (July 12 – Sept 6) has a Concept Form due date of February 29.
NCCC strengthens communities and develops leaders through a full-time, team-based (~8-12 in size), residential national service program for young adults. Projects typically last 6-8 weeks although shorter periods are possible. Types of service NCCC teams can perform include disaster services, energy conservation, infrastructure improvement, urban and rural development, and environmental stewardship. There is no charge for labor and teams provide their own transportation, however NCCC requests partners provide a place for the team to sleep and shower along with assistance with food or kitchen facilities to cook on.
NCCC’s 2024 Request for Proposals contains additional information. If you would like to apply to receive a team, or for additional information, please contact Jeff Moeur at jmoeur@cns.gov or 202-528-3785.
