Philadelphia Cares seeks energetic, self-motivated, team players to join our dynamic team as AmeriCorps Members. Philadelphia Cares’ AmeriCorps Members will work with non-profit and community organizations to recruit & mobilize volunteers, and design and manage volunteer programs and projects. Specific responsibilities will include: community outreach to organizations to understand their mission and how they can benefit from volunteer help; designing and coordinating projects; conducting volunteer outreach and recruitment via phone and mail; and providing direct service at volunteer projects.
The AmeriCorps Member will serve a full-time 12-month term. A living stipend of $13,000 and health insurance will be provided. After completion of the term of service, he or she will recieve an educational award of $4,750.

Superior organizational skills, creativity, positive attitude, excellent written & oral communication skills, self-starter, team player.
