AmeriCorps Funding Available

PennSERVE and the PA Community Service Advisory Board announce the availability of new grant funding for the operation of AmeriCorps national service programs by educational institutions, government agencies and nonprofit organizations with 501(c) 3 statuses
The Application deadline is 4 PM, January 16, 2003.
Five ?How To Be An AmeriCorps Program? workshops are scheduled. Reserve a seat in advance by e-mailing [email protected]. Workshops run from 9 am to 1 pm except Philadelphia, which begins at 10 am. Dates & locations are:
December 3–City Council Chambers, Erie
December 4?University of Pittsburgh, William Pitt Union Building, Lower Lounge, Pittsburgh
December 10?City Year Philadelphia headquarters, 2221 Chestnut Street, 2nd floor, Philadelphia
December 11?Lackawanna Heritage Valley Center, 1300 Old Plank Road, Mayfield (Scranton area)
December 12?Labor & Industry Building, Room E100, 7th & Forster Street, Harrisburg
