AmeriCorps Full-time Service Opportunity w/ Ceiba

Ceiba and Local Initiatives Support Corporation are seeking a full-time AmeriCorps member to serve as a COVID-19 Digital Inclusion & Asset-Building Coordinator. We are recruiting a full-time AmeriCorps member to be a part of our team for 10 months. The position will remain open until filled. The exact start and end date of the contract position is confirmed by the Member Agreement of Participation that will require signature prior to the start of service. This is an AmeriCorps position and the individual selected to serve is not considered to be an employee of Ceiba or LISC.

WHAT WE DO
Ceiba promotes the economic development and financial inclusion of the Latino community through collaborations and advocacy aimed at ensuring their access to quality housing. Ceiba leads a collective of 13 Latino nonprofits that encourages collaboration between organizations, many of whom already have an excellent track record and are leaders in their field. Ceiba fosters the integration of services and programs between organizations in the Latino community, seamlessly linking families to a wide range of services through a cohesive process that promotes integration of multiple programs for clients and maximizes economies of scale for service providers.

YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES AS AN AMERICORPS MEMBER
This is an AmeriCorps position and as such, the member may not engage in prohibited activities as part of his/her/their service. The member will have an immediate supervisor at Ceiba and a LISC point of contact throughout the term of service for coaching, mentoring, and training support in order to undertake activities to achieve a community goal.
