Groups that contribute to the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual welfare of children may apply for funding from the American Legion Child Welfare Foundation. Grantmaking focuses on knowledge dissemination. The foundation awards grants of $1,500 to $77,000, with the average award being $22,000.
