The recent Amazon RFP created a new level of competition among cities continent-wide when it comes to promotion and business attraction. Philadelphia rose to the occasion with its Philadelphia Delivers campaign and final submission. This uniquely intense and highly public RFP process unearthed a wealth of surprises and key knowledge about Philadelphia (and Philadelphians!) that will serve the city in future economic development endeavors. Join us for a dialogue Sylvie Gallier Howard of the city’s Department of Commerce and Anne Nevins of PIDC on how we can leverage the Amazon process and products moving forward.
