Allies have an important role to play in building a diverse, inclusive, and equitable local economy. They commit to listening, working to understand, and advocating for disadvantaged people and communities.
In celebration of the City of Philadelphia’s MED (Minority Enterprise Development) Week, SBN and the Independence Business Alliance, the city’s LGBT Chamber of Commerce, are partnering to offer a panel discussion with businesses of diverse backgrounds from the Philadelphia region who have demonstrated leadership in areas of social justice.
Together they will discuss how businesses can act as allies to each other, how allies have helped them, and how an ecosystem of allies exists in Philadelphia.
Panelists:
- Mia Levesque, Co-owner and Co-founder of YIKES, Inc.
- Marcus Iannozzi, Founder and Principal of Message Agency
- Marc Coleman, President and CEO of The Tactile Group
