New City Press and InLiquid.com are pleased to announce the upcoming All Access: Confronting Boundaries exhibit and event. The exhibit of various forms of art by people with disabilities will be open to the public between November 1 and December 20 at the Painted Bride Art Center (223 Vine Street in Olde City.) The book-signing event will take place at the Painted Bride between 5:30 and 8:00 pm on Friday November 1st.
To celebrate this event, contributors of the ground-breaking publication, No Restraints: An Anthology of Disability Culture in Philadelphia, will be on-hand to sign books and talk with the audience. No Restraints is comprised of art and writing by Philadelphia residents with disabilities. Contributors discuss disability activism, history of disability legislation, personal experience, development of community arts programs for people with disabilities, and more.
Contributors will be available to sign copies of No Restraints and talk about its creation on Friday November 1st, at 5:30, at the Painted Bride Art Center as part of InLiquid.com?s InLiquid at the Painted Bride Series.
