Aligning the Metropolitan University with Business, Government, and the Nonprofit Sectors
Posted by on August 13, 2010
The 16th annual Coalition of Urban and Metropolitan Universities conference, hosted by California State University, Fresno from October 24 to 26, 2010 will focus on “Aligning the Metropolitan University with Business, Government, and the Nonprofit Sectors.” This theme invites a broad discussion of the ways in which the key contributors to a dynamic and successful urban mission work together. The conference will provide a forum for faculty, students, community, government, and business leaders, and academic administrators to share ideas, experiences and recommendations about how the many elements of a sustainable and vibrant urban culture best fit together.
By looking at effective approaches to developing a range of partnerships that transform communities, the conference will offer a comprehensive look at how the interactions with and among different sectors create synergies, reveal common goals, and produce results.
