Falling just after Ramadan and the celebration of Eid alFitr, Philadelphia Arab Community Day seeks to bring together not only families and friends of AlBustan but also the Arab Communities of the region. Come for shawarma and falafel sandwiches provided by AlSalam Grill, scrumptious Lebanese food by Sally’s Kitchen, art activities for adults and children, lawn games, bouncy castles, and percussion performances by Master Percussionist Hafez Kotain, on his own and in concert with AlBustan’s longstanding Community Percussion Ensemble and student groups from schools across Philadelphia.

All are welcome at this unique gathering, which is open to members of all communities. It is an opportunity to come together and celebrate the arts, identity, and community in the City of Brotherly Love.
