June 2018 will be Philadelphia FIGHT’s 24th Annual AIDS Education Month (AEM)! AEM is a series of free events throughout Philadelphia to increase awareness of HIV/AIDS and brings people together to find strategies to combat the virus.

AIDS Education Month 2018 will feature captivating speakers, and presentations, as well as spaces for the Philadelphia community to celebrate advances in HIV/AIDS treatment prevention, advocacy, and policy.

Opening Reception and Award Ceremony : Celebrate the start of AIDS Education Month with the Opening Reception and Award Ceremony! Join us for hors d’oeuvres and great conversation as we present the annual Kiyoshi Kuromiya Award for Prevention, Treatment and Justice to Elvis Rosado and Lee Carson.

End AIDS: The HIV Prevention and Outreach Summit: End AIDS: The HIV Prevention and Outreach Summit provides the latest information about research, evidence-based HIV prevention, outreach strategies, and best practices in targeting and connecting to care the most at-risk groups in Philadelphia.The audience for this summit includes: people living with HIV/AIDS (PLWHA); people caring for PLWHA; those working in the HIV field, such as case managers, social workers, health care providers, prevention workers, street outreach workers, city employees, researches, and sexual health educators; those working in allied fields; and, anyone interested in learning more about HIV/AIDS in the Greater Philadelphia region and throughout the US.

You can register online, fill out a paper registration form and send it in, or pick up a paper registration form at
