Posted by Congreso de Latinos Unidos on January 11, 2016
Congreso will be hosting a staff recruitment event where we will be sharing information about afterschool program staff jobs and interviewing folks on the spot.
Program staff will lead homework help and a club afterschool Monday to Friday from 3-6pm, the pay is $11.00 hourly for 15-17 hours a week. Class size is around 15 kids in each class, and looking for staff to work in both elementary or middle or high school settings. Clubs are music, dance, art, sports, tech, and science and staff help design content.
HS diploma or GED is required, experience with kids/youth is important. Some college is preferred, Spanish is not required. This is a great job for folks who want to get more experience teaching or working with students in general.
Event is Thursday, January 14th from 6-8PM at 2800 N. American St. (Congreso de Latinos Unidos) open to the public, drop in anytime and learn more, bring a resume.
Feel free to reach out to me with any additional questions or pass along resumes from folks you know.
