Afterschool Assistant Group Leader. United Communities Southeast Philadelphia is a nonprofit, multi-purpose settlement house with a long and rich tradition of service to children, adults and families residing in Southeast Philadelphia. This is a part-time position (15-17 hours/week).
Under the supervision of the Group Supervisor, assistant group leaders are responsible for assisting in the implementation of daily activities and lesson planning for children in grades K-5 and provide homework assistance and mentoring to the children. Additional duties include: Pick-up / Escort children from local schools to the program.
