Summer Leadership Institutes sponsored by PASE

Build your leadership skills in NYC July 20-31, 2009.

Partnership for After School Education is pleased to announce its first annual series of Summer Leadership Institutes. Held in New York City, these two and three day long intensive workshops will allow afterschool program managers from around the country to come together and gain knowledge about effective leadership in this developing field.

Through partnerships with experts in many related fields, PASE has collected and refined best practices and strategies for many areas critical to the provision of high quality programming in the out-of-school time hours. For over a decade, PASE has provided training in these areas to the afterschool field in New York City, and now the Summer Leadership Institutes will provide an opportunity for practitioners from other areas to benefit from PASEs proven expertise.

Learn proven strategies from practitioner-experts.

Instructors in the institutes will be senior level professionals from youth development and other related fields of practice and professors from colleges and universities. Each of the courses is practice-based and draws from related research. The strategies taught have been field-tested and have a demonstrated record of success.

Benefit from focused, intensive sessions.Institutes will be limited to 35 participants, and individual coaching sessions will be available to attendees desiring to develop their own professional development plans. Printed materials will be provided to attendees for use in their agencies.
