The primary responsibility of the after school facilitator is to guide and oversee a group of approximately 15 high school students as they complete projects based on a specific theme. We are seeking experienced facilitators interested in leading Dance, Step/Drill Team and Drumline groups after school.
Each group meets twice per week from 3:00pm-6:00pm. Applicants may apply for up to two thematic groups (thus working up to four days per week). Facilitators will also help coordinate academic support for students in the program by reviewing students’ school day performance and referring students to the proper tutoring or academic support program.
After school facilitators will work from mid-September through June, at an hourly rate of $17. Working with one thematic group would include 9 hours per week (6 hours instruction, three hours of prep); working with two groups would include 18 hours per week (12 hours instruction, 6 hours of prep).
If interested, please email a resume and cover letter indicating which thematic group you are interested in to Ayinde Tate: [email protected]
