YET (Youth Education for Tomorrow) After-School Literacy Program
Volunteer Today, Change Lives Tomorrow
If you or your organization is looking for a meaningful way to impact children?s lives, YET centers provide that opportunity. The 30 centers located throughout North, West, and South Philadelphia serve K-12 children who are behind their grade levels in reading. This year is the successful third year of operation in centers that help kids improve their reading by more than a grade level. All you have to do is contact me, Mary Roaf, at (215) 557-4874 or at [email protected], to set up a one-time volunteer training, and to select a center and day (all centers operate Monday through Thursday or Friday from 3:30 or 4:00 until 4:30 or 5:00, and volunteers must commit serve to at least one day a week).
