After School Group Facilitator
Act. Leaders are responsible for working with their supervisors to develop and implement lesson plans for elementary school or middle school aged youth 5 days per week for 15 hours per week during the academic year. Lesson plans will concentrate on language arts, math, science, political science, health, arts, recreation and life skills. Act. Leaders are responsible for facilitating classes of approximately 15 students, helping program participants with homework and supervising high school leaders. Requirements: Post secondary education required; Candidates may be in the progress of pursuing a degree of higher education; Exp. in developing and/or operating after school or summer programs for youth; Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred.
