Based in the Oxford Circle neighborhood of Philadelphia, PA, the Oxford Circle Christian Community Development Association (OCCCDA) is seeking an After School Coordinator. The mission of OCCCDA is to extend healing and hope in the Oxford Circle community, believing that God’s purpose of reconciling all people to Jesus leads us to minister on spiritual, physical, social & economic levels. The After School Coordinator is responsible for planning and implementing the daily activities of the after school (Mondays – Thursdays from 3:00-6:00pm) including supervision of volunteers.
Job responsibilities:
1. Plans and implements daily youth program activities (75%)
2. Supervises volunteers/instructors assisting with daily activities (5%)
3. Develops relationships and partnerships with the participants’ parents and schools (5%)
4. Develops a yearly service plan for youth enrolled in after school program (5%)
5. Ensures that accurate and current documentation is maintained as needed for OCCCDA and funders, including applications and any case notes and/or incident reports (5%)
6. Develops a network of social service and support agencies which provide services to community youth (5%)
Position is 15 hrs per week.
Additional Qualifications:
Will be required to provide Child Abuse and Criminal Clearances upon employment and obtain a CPR and First Aid Certification within 3 months of employment.
